Patchwork "Shells" look deceptively complicated, but in
reality the "shells" are quite easy and intriguing to
knit. Shells are knit using garter stitch, slip stitch and seed
stitch. All shells are joined as you knit.
The first three hours, you will experience knitting shells, half shells
and joining shells.
The last three hours, you will have the opportunity to start knitting a
purse using the shell motif.

|
Sat. May 20th - "Mixed Bag":
 |
"Mixed Bag" sample is made out of "Cotton
Rope" by Rowan and "Matisse"
by Plymouth Yarns. |

The "Mixed Bag" is knit using a combination of two
patchwork motifs; the triangle and the mitered "U" turn
square/rectangles."
The first three hours, you will learn how to knit and join the
equilateral triangles that form the base of the bag.
The last three hours, you will learn to knit and join "U" turn
squares/rectangles. Also, you will join the rectangles to the triangles
base to form the body of the purse.
