The last couple of weeks at the Yarn Lady have been exciting. We
started out the month with our Semi-Annual Bag Sale (click on image
for pictures). Thank you to
all our loyal customers who come and make this event fun and
exciting. The weather was rather warm, but that did not deter those
die-hard yarn lovers from digging for that something special. As
soon as our staff was able to re-cooperate from the long hours, both
Cherie and Niqua were off to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend this
years Spring Market where retail store owners go and purchase
merchandise for this coming season. Check out our new "Yarn
Lady Buzz" blog on our home page to get a daily update of
what happened in Indianapolis.
We have some exciting events planned in the coming weeks.
First of which is a first for us….a "Sock
Yarn Tasting" by Skacel Yarns on June 24th. This is not
just about the socks. We have been informed that there will be a
special treat in store for you. You have to sign
up to find out what that will be. You won't want to miss it.
Also, Cherie and Niqua had the pleasure of
speaking with a wonderful designer who you will want to meet...

Bylsma, designer and teacher, who is well known in the knitting
industry, will be making a guest appearance at Yarn Lady on July
28th through the 29th. She will be teaching two six hour classes on
felting and her infamous "Crayon Jacket". Stay tuned for

Kits, Kits, Kits….Patterns, Patterns, Patterns. Have we got kits
and patterns that are new and from well known vendors coming soon
for you. We are bringing back to you lots of new ideas, projects,
colors and textures to learn and brag about, in both knitting and
crocheting. We are enthusiastic about
(?lmv?@co?.ne?) encouraging the growth of
crochet in our store; so many of the patterns and kits that were
purchased at Market will include crochet as well as knitting. All
these and new yarns will be arriving in the next couple of weeks.
