"Say Hi to Jesus For Me": Preface |
Why did I write this book? Corrie Ten Boom expressed our experience and our feelings when she said, "There is no pit so deep that he is not deeper still." It is tempting for us to look back and wonder what we could have done differently. It is not the point of this book to say that we handled everything perfectly, but to share our humanness and to show how God took us by the hand and led us through our valley. This book is written: ……as a tribute to our Lord and God, who was able to bring us through the hell of losing our child and who, as we keep looking to him, will bring us through anything life may bring our way- one step at a time. ……as a tribute to our brothers and sisters in Christ, who gave of themselves through their love and prayers. ……as a tribute to all those who will come to trust Jesus as they walk through their valley with him. ……as a tribute to Todd, whose childlike love for Jesus so greatly enriched our lives. ……and lest we forget.
